AIMI Score v1.0 — Current Framework
The official current scoring framework.
The AIMI Score is a 0 to 1000 score based on normalized signals, freshness (recency-weighted data), platform diversity (cross-platform verification), and data confidence (source-tier weighted). Higher confidence sources carry more weight in the final calculation.
Deprecation Notice: All older conflicting score references, weight distributions, and methodology descriptions are deprecated as of AIMI Score v1.0. The 30% / 25% / 20% / 15% / 10% weighting is the single official framework. Previous versions should not be referenced.

Plain-Language Methodology
What each signal actually measures.
Streaming Velocity
Measures growth momentum, not lifetime plays. A track gaining 50% more streams this week than last week scores higher than a track with more total plays but flat or declining growth. Velocity rewards momentum and trend acceleration.
Prompt Innovation
Rewards original prompt craft over template reuse. Tracks generated from unique, creative prompts score higher than tracks using common or widely-spread prompt templates. Innovation is measured through originality scoring and generation velocity analysis.
Media Footprint
Measures press, blog, podcast, and industry mentions. Editorial coverage from verified publications, podcast features, newsletter inclusions, and industry blog mentions all contribute. Weighted by publication credibility and reach.
Community Signal
Includes voting, curator attention, and verified community activity. Community votes on tracks, curator playlist additions, peer nominations, and forum discussions all contribute. Grassroots adoption is weighted alongside industry recognition.
Source Confidence
Source confidence is higher for verified data (Tier 1 — official platform APIs, Tier 2 — authorized partner feeds) and lower for unverified data (Tier 4 — manual claims, Tier 5 — unverified sources). Data from higher-confidence sources carries more weight in the final AIMI Score calculation, ensuring that verified signals matter more than self-reported claims.

AIMI Chart Eligibility.
AIMI charts track AI-integrated music across H1–H5 classifications. H0 (Human Created) is reference-only and not chart eligible. All tracks must meet minimum disclosure and provenance standards.
