Creator Registry Terms

Last updated: June 2026 · These terms may be updated as AIMI/AIMSO develops.

Registry Purpose

The AIMI Registry assigns persistent public IDs to creators, artists, labels, songs, prompts, voices, models, and catalogs in the AI and AI-assisted music space. Registry IDs are informational identifiers within the AIMI ecosystem and do not constitute legal registrations, copyright filings, or official intellectual property records.

ID Assignment

Registry IDs are assigned in Pending status upon submission. Full Active status is granted following AIMSO review. AIMI reserves the right to suspend, reject, or remove registry entries that contain inaccurate, fraudulent, or prohibited content.

Verification vs. Registration

Registry listing and AIMSO verification are separate processes. Being listed in the registry does not mean your work has been verified or rated. Verification requires a separate application through the Verification Center.

Creator Obligations

Creators are responsible for ensuring their registry entries remain accurate and updated. Creators must notify AIMI/AIMSO of any changes in rights, ownership, or platform availability that may affect their registry status.

Founding Beta Status

The AIMI Registry is in Founding Beta. Registry structures, ID formats, verification criteria, and eligibility standards will continue to evolve with industry input and community feedback.
